The Antivirus fanboys won't like to hear it, but looking at the track-record of your average Anti-Virus, they all at some point managed to screw up big time. Granted, 90% of the time it does nothing but waste cpu cycles and memory. Your best Antivirus is in your head, don't go to untrustworthy sites, don't download Software from unsafe sources (chances are, if the AV doesn't have that particular file in it's list it isn't going to recognize it anyway. Oh and to the guys who believe the marketing bullshit that AV could analyse Software for dangerous behaviour: Newsflash that has never really worked, despite what the Marketing Deparments would have you believe. ![]()
